4.1 The Freshman Buffy and Willow start college but Buffy feels like she's out of place and her earlier life seems to be slipping away. It doesn't help things when a bimbo vampire, Sunday and her gang is terrorizing the campus. 4.2 Living Conditions Buffy's new roommate, Kathy is driving her crazy and even affecting her slaying. As Buffy starts to behave strangely, the scoobies start to worry something is wrong and it might involve a demon she faced during patroling. 4.3 The Harsh Light of Day Harmony is back in town as a vampire and she has a new boyfriend, Spike. He is looking for a gem that will make him invinsible and Buffy's date with Parker doesn't go as planned. Anya returns to town and into Xander's life. 4.4 Fear, Itself It is Halloween and Buffy is depressed because of Parker. The scoobies try to cheer her up by taking her to a party, but it doesn't go as planned as they are locked into a house that seems to be trying to scare them to death. Episode stills 4.5 Beer Bad Xander has a new job as a bartender and Buffy is still moping after Parker. She tries to drown her sorrow into beer with her new accuintances. But to her bad luck the beer is chanted and turns those who drink it into cavepeople. 4.6 Wild at Heart Oz finds out Veruca is a werewolf and during a night he is changed has a catastrophic affect on his relationship with Willow. Episode stills 4.7 The Initiative Spike escaped from the Initiative and when he goes after Buffy, he finds out he isn't the same vampire he used to be. Riley realizes he has a crush on Buffy and goes to Willow for help, but things don't progress the way he'd like them to. 4.8 Pangs Buffy has decided that the gang will have a nice quiet thanksgiving dinner together, but unleashed Indian spirits seeking for revenge are making it difficult. Also Angel is in town. 4.9 Something Blue Spike is tied to Giles' bathtub as Buffy tries to get information out of him and Willow is still heartbroken because of Oz. After alcohol fails, she tries a spell to get over her heartbreak, but it backfires when the things she says start coming true, making Giles blind, demons come after Xander and Buffy and Spike plan their wedding. Episode stills 4.10 Hush Buffy has a prophetic dream and on the next night everyone in Sunnydale looses their voices. Giles discovers that the reason for it is a group of demons called the Gentlemen, who steal everyone's voices and collected a certain amount of hearts. Only way to kill them is a woman's scream which proves to be difficult since no one in Sunnydale has a voice. Episode stills 4.11 Doomed When a earthquake shakes Sunnydale Buffy is convinced that something bad is going to happen, but Giles tells her she's paranoid. But when Willow finds a body with a symbol carved to it, Giles finds out that there is another apocalypse coming. In the meantime Buffy is hitting the brakes on her starting relationship with Riley. 4.12 A New Man It's Buffy's 19th birthday and as it is tradition, something must go wrong. Giles is feeling neglected and when he runs into Ethan they end up getting drunk. The next morning Giles is both hungover and a demon. 4.13 The I in Team Buffy gets inside to the Initiative, but her friends are feeling neglected as professor Walsh feels threatened by her and decides to get rid of the “bad element” in Riley's life. 4.14 Goodbye Iowa While hiding from the Initiative, Buffy searches for the demon they created. She also notices that Riley is acting unstable as he is going through the withdrawal from the drugs that Initiative has been feeding him. 4.15 This Year's Girl Faith wakes up from the coma and she is out to get revenge on Buffy. She gets a hold on something that the Mayor left her and she goes after Buffy. 4.16 Who Are You? Faith is residing Buffy's body and life while Buffy is in her body, taken captive by the Watcher's Council that is planning to kill her. 4.17 Superstar 4.18 Where the Wild Things Are 4.19 New Moon Rising Oz is back in Sunnydale causing inner turmoil in Willow who has grown more close to Tara. Oz has learned to control the werewolf inside him, but when he finds out about Willow and Tara, he looses control in the middle of the day and the Initiative captures him. 4.20 The Yoko Factor Episode Stills 4.21 Primeval Episode Stills 4.22 Restless Episode Stills

A quick explanation of my rating system, I'm going to use one I had in school which means given grades are from 4 to 10. If an episode gets 4 or 4 – it is practically a failed test (an F to those who have that system) and has to be done again to get a grade, but if it is a 4 ½ it is just on the brink of passing. On the “better” grades (meaning from 5 upward) I'm gonna use an example I saw on wikipedia: 9 < 9 + < 9 ½ < 10 - < 10. A 10 + can be given when there is some extra effort done.
